Apistogramma agassizii

Description

The Apistogramma Agassizi “Fire Gold” is a stunning color variant of Apistogramma agassizii, prized for its intense golden body coloration highlighted by fiery orange to red tones in the fins. Males develop elongated dorsal and tail extensions, giving them an elegant, flowing appearance that stands out in planted aquariums. This dwarf cichlid combines vivid color with interesting natural behavior, making it a favorite among aquascapers and South American community enthusiasts.

Despite their bold appearance, Fire Gold Apistos remain relatively peaceful and thrive in calm, well-structured environments with plenty of hiding spots.
