(Also known as the Three-Spot Gourami)

The Blue Gourami is a hardy, medium-large labyrinth fish known for its metallic blue coloration and bold personality. It’s one of the most adaptable gouramis in the hobby and makes a strong centerpiece fish in larger community aquariums.

Note: The currently accepted scientific name is Trichopodus trichopterus (formerly Trichogaster trichopterus).
