Full Description
Boesemani Rainbowfish “Super Red” (Melanotaenia boesemani)
The Super Red Boesemani Rainbowfish is an enhanced, high-color variant of the classic Boesemani, prized for its intense red/orange rear half paired with a shimmering blue to violet front. This striking two-tone contrast becomes even more vibrant as the fish mature, especially in well-maintained aquariums.
Active, hardy, and constantly on the move, these rainbowfish bring energy and color to community tanks. Their schooling behavior and flashing iridescence make them especially impressive in groups, where males will display their best colors to compete for attention.
