Full Description
Clown Pleco (Panaqolus maccus) – L104
The Clown Pleco is a small, beautifully patterned pleco known for its bold dark brown to black body covered in bright orange or cream bands. Its striking, maze-like markings and compact size make it one of the most popular plecos for community and planted aquariums.
Unlike many larger plecos, the Clown Pleco stays relatively small and is well-suited for smaller tanks. It is a shy, peaceful species that spends much of its time hiding among driftwood or resting on surfaces, becoming more active during the evening.
