Rhacodactylus auriculatus (currently classified as Rhacodactylus auriculatus, commonly known as the Gargoyle Gecko)
The Fancy Gargoyle Gecko is a beautiful arboreal species from New Caledonia, prized for its unique appearance, hardy nature, and wide variety of colors and patterns. Named for the horn-like bumps along its head that resemble stone gargoyles, this gecko is available in an incredible range of morphs featuring shades of orange, red, yellow, white, gray, and brown.
Gargoyle Geckos are excellent climbers and thrive in vertically oriented enclosures filled with branches, cork bark, and foliage. They are generally hardy and easy to care for, making them a great choice for both beginner and experienced reptile keepers.
