Leopard Cactus Pleco L600 (Pseudacanthicus leopardus) – Description & Care Guide
Description
The Leopard Cactus Pleco L600 (Pseudacanthicus leopardus) is a stunning and highly sought-after South American pleco known for its bold leopard-like spotting and powerful body shape. Juveniles display strong black and yellow patterning that becomes darker and more dramatic as they mature. This species is prized by collectors for its striking appearance and impressive presence in larger aquariums.
Native to fast-flowing river systems, the L600 prefers clean, oxygen-rich water and plenty of structure such as rocks, caves, and driftwood.

Occasional vegetable matter, but not a heavy algae eater
Regular feeding helps maintain colour and growth.

Other similar cactus plecos in smaller tanks
