Ranitomeya vanzolinii is a rare and highly sought-after poison dart frog known for its striking colours and active personality. Native to the Amazon rainforest regions of Brazil and Peru, this small species displays a beautiful combination of bright orange-red markings over a dark body with vivid blue legs patterned in black. Its bold appearance and fascinating behaviour make it a standout species for advanced dart frog keepers and naturalistic vivarium enthusiasts.
This species thrives in well-planted tropical enclosures with high humidity, stable temperatures, and plenty of climbing surfaces. Despite their small size, they are very active during the day and can often be seen exploring bromeliads, leaf litter, and branches throughout the enclosure.
