Sunspot Tropheus (Tropheus moorii)
The Sunspot Tropheus is a stunning colour variant of Tropheus moorii, prized for its bold yellow to orange “sunspot” markings contrasted against a dark body. Native to the rocky shorelines of Lake Tanganyika, these active and intelligent African cichlids thrive in aquariums with plenty of rockwork, excellent water quality, and strong water movement.
Known for their constant activity and fascinating social behaviour, Sunspot Tropheus are best kept in groups where they establish a natural hierarchy, making them an exciting addition to any African cichlid aquarium.

Diet

- Can be housed with other suitable Lake Tanganyika cichlids in larger aquariums.
